Dik, I rely on the Auto Focus of the V1 as I find it very accurate. The lcd screen and Electronic Viewfinder make it easy to focus the scope too so the AF doe;8&#n217st have much work to do. I use the Remote Control a lot, especially for Video. For stills I just fire in bursts at 10 fps. You don’t have to worry about vibration at that speed.Neil
